How tall was Jaco?

Hello!
Me and some buddies talked about bassists and their height, some being short, like Flea, some being tall, like Tim Commerford. I know this doesn't matter but me and my buddies would like to know how tall Jaco Pastorius was? Anyone out there who knows?

Met him once when he sat in with our band, we were playing Birdland, didn't even know he was there...
I'm about 6' and if I remember correctly, he was close to my height.

And for the record, I believe height plays a big roll in bass playing. The average height among world class players seems to be a LOT taller than the average height among the rest of the population, 5'10. Check out my old thread on the subject.

haha I love this thread

I knew him personally - about my height between 6' & 6'1 but...

he was weirdly proportioned - short torso, long legs gangly

very athletic - running & jumping all the time hahaha

Felix is tall - his mom was taller than average

BTW - Pino is also really tall
