If I slap toooooo hard I tend to mess everything up - on a 5 I have to be reasonably careful.
I'm being a bit sly here - My eq isn't totally flat - a smidge of bass and low mid boost and I'm OK. I do agree that you shouldn't have to alter eq much for different styles whan your hands do a better and faster job.
Same here. I've worked on my slap to the point where I can do the same things at varying volume levels. I never slap really hard because I don't like the tone and...I can play really loud without doing it.
Ya ive used to do that but its not me more than the amp and the cab i have its sounds greta but when i go to slap it just looses alot of strength!It still sounds awsome but just not high enough!Never had the problem on my old ampeg b-15 ihad but it was stolen!(%@&$&@%#*&*&&%%@#@$^@^&$^%@#$%#$!%&$%&$&@$%^&)you dont still a mans ampeg!
