How to get napalm death's behs tone?

I've looked literally everywhere i can think of (googled it once) and i couldn't find any discussions on the matter. Anyone got any ideas (preferably relating to eq and general effects instead of specific amps/pedals because i am exceedingly poor).

For reference, i mean something like 2:04 in judicial slime or the start of scum.

My guess would be a rickenbacker with a bunch of fuzz and boosts to the high mids, but idk.

That was late 80s so there were no bass fuzzes. It sounds like a shin-e superfuzz or a Rat into 2 SVTs with ultra low On (to make up for it being a guitar fuzz) Or somethin like that. (All I know of Napalm Death is their drummer Mick Harris was in Bill Lazwell/John Zorn's Painkiller so he has some cred. It aint cheap but a Blowerbox Delux can get there. Joyo might have something for less money.

Now for your question, as others said that is some heavy fuzz. I thought this band was more death metal (which they are for sure) but they are being more consider grindcore which makes sense. It is a lot of fuzz for sure, you see this tone a lot in other grindcore bands and black metal.

Also, you can link videos if you need to, you are reffering to Shane Embury correct? I found a lot of stuff on him alone.
Also did he ever use a Rickenbacker? I only see him using a Warwick and a Jazz.
I heard a lot of bands with this type of fuzzy tone, from shoegaze, dreamgaze, True Widow is a band that has a more calm tone but similar to this.
My favorite fuzz is the MXR M84 - I also think a pre-amp can get this. This band is pioneers it seems to the heavy world.

Around 9:08 he talks about what they use or how to get close - it's a fuzz I think later on for sure they started using it. Shane has an updated pedalboard picture on his X/twitter if you like me to link that.

around 1980 I had a rehoused superfuzz circuit like that in a wooden box, left behind somewhere
which might be like Used MXR M75 Super Badass Distortion Overdrive Guitar Effects Pedal | Reverb
I know for sure the SSBS BUZZZZ will do it with the scooped but low end intact setting, but SSBS is hard to find and expensive these days
just found out about this (I'm gettin one, 5 to 15 volt changeable!)

napalm death is three tones. Frontline superdistortion. boss HM-2 into a Fz 2. and a rat driving an amp. all of these were svt or peavey. I think. but hell you could use a Marshall. I have 3 three of those super distortions. very cheap generic distortion in the 80's and 90's, you have to go and see the different versions, Get the Behringer version of both the boss pedals, maybe get a cheap rat clone. but I would boost the rat a little. or use the LED mode. last use a sansamp or ampeg pre. You'll hit just about every era..
