How to get thus twangy treble sound

Hey i tried to find an old post that i made about this but guess.it got deleted a long time ago.

Anyway.. I know hes probably using five string bass, however is it still possible to get this tone out a four string? And how? What would be the appropriate pedals for starters?

Is thwrw a way to replicate it thru pedals? My bassist does have a p but ive got a Johnson

Get a bass. Get an overdrive pedal. There, done.
You say you "know" he "probably" used a fiver? That makes literally no sense, but it doesn't matter, five or not, it won't change the tone, just the tuning.
