And just FYI, when you plug this cable in, you have to give each end a little clockwise twist to 'lock' it in place. To unplug, pull back on the grey ring while rotating counter-clockwise.

Very useful information for someone with a tube amp, which the Markbass 800 is not. He's got a hybrid, no need to worry about proper loading (as long as you don't go below the minimum).

I didn't know it was a hybrid. I saw it in the all tube section of Musicians Friend...

I know markbass offers an all tube head. I believe it has a digital component that tells when the tubes are dead or not, and how theyre biased...
