I just bought an EHX wicker big muff, is there a way to make it sound like black Russian?

Sell it and buy a Black Russian/ BR style Muff. Preferably not an EHX branded one, but a clone, almost any clone. Vick Audio builds one that's well liked.

The sound of different varieties of Muffs is due to the different components (transistors, diodes, resistors, capacitors) used to build the pedal.

I'd recommend Mojo Hand FX Colossus or BMP-2, or SUF Civil War.
