how to post an image

Pardon my ignorance. I'm trying to figure out how to post an image with the new system. With the old one I could just browse through images on my computer. With the new one it asks for an image URL. How do I assign a URL to images?

Two options:

Do you use Dropbox? If you do, drop the picture you want to share into the public folder...once it's there, right click it and click on "copy public link" or something so.

If not, get a free account on one of the many photo-sharing sites.

Instead of hitting the "image" icon in the reply box, hit the yellow "Upload a file" button below where you type. You can upload an unlimited number of attachments, so no need to use a 3rd party service. After your pic is done uploading, there will be little buttons that will let you put a thumbnail in the post (where your curser is), or the full image. If you choose neither, the image will appear as a list of uploaded files at the bottom of your post. Here's a screenshot:
