Raxxess Flat Steel Rack Panel | Musician's Friend

I got mine at guitar center as its close to me, but you can order them on line as well. I think your 800RB is four rack spaces high, but you'll want to check.

Thanks, I just measured my 400, it needs a 2U size, after looking at the link for mcm I might just buy something else(I think its a rack shelf, but not an enclosed one I that makes sense??!!) and just drill holes to match the bottom(the side panels once had a handle but no other holes on the sides) as it might be cheaper and easier than buying a hacksaw/dremel, but thanks though!!

If some of you guys aren't handy or don't have tools, bring your amp and rack to a local metalworking/welding shop and show them what you want to do.

A "rack ear" is just a piece of bent plate metal with holes drilled in the right spots. Piece of cake for those guys and they'd probably think it was a cool job.

They're not really "rackears" until you bolt them to the amp. Until then they're just pieces of bent metal with a fancy name they can upcharge for. :)

I am handy, but lack some tools..i do know a body shop that did some brackets for me, but it'd probably actually be cheaper to just buy a rack shelf(they charged me a case of beer for that LOL) for $13.00, same price through MCM electronics
