How to view a single post?

I seem to remember that if you clicked on the post # (upper right next to the "report post" button) that the single post would open in a new window. Doesn't seem to be working that way now.
Am I misremembering?

You are correct - we took away the 'view single post' functionality because Google supposedly penalizes sites that have more than one way to access the same content (viewing a post one-at-a-time, and within its thread).

You can also select the single profile by clicking on the user profile (username).

Indeed, so did I. Even now, though, linking to a post by copying the required link from the # hyperlink takes you to that specific post. It's probably easier to quote the post you want to refer to, but sometimes I've had to refer to posts in closed threads, so that link helps

If you mean inserting hyperlinks in your sig, I don't think that's possible unless you're a supporting member.

that is correct. clickable links are available to SM's
