Double Bass How transparent is the fdeck?

OK, I got mine, and it does appear to take a little air out of the tone, but not as much as the other preamp I was using.
@Stu_Bass , "Unity gain" was the term, or at least concept I was looking for, thanks!
My rig appears to get a tiny bit louder when I use the Fdeck vs. not, but I think this is due to the amp not having to use power recreating the lower frequencies, rather than the Fdeck adding any boost. Eg, the volume knob acts as a "cut" only.

The LED just flashes once to indicate adequate battery voltage. It does not stay on.

Correct. I chose the "flash" mode, so the battery indicator wouldn't be the main source of battery drain.
