It is a freedom II, one of about five put out by the custom shop in Houston, so yes, kinda special, that one.

Gibson Victory Artist, also kinda rare.

Nope, not a rockbass. It is a Ash Neck.....Confusion setting in?...LOL

Thanks! What would you like to know? About the ash neck on the Warwick? It had a warped Ovingkol (sp) neck originally and was unplayable. I bought it knowing a friend of mine that could make one. We found a beautiful quartersawn 30year air dried piece of northern ash and a cad machine, and he made me an exact replica neck. Pretty sweet!

How stable is it? What year is the bass (what is the neck profile like)? What is the fretboard wood? Does your friend still have some of the CAD/CAM files perchance?
