This is not meant to discourage you or to say you shouldn't try it, it's just a caveat that going to three fingers is not guaranteed to be The Answer.
i agree....i tryed useing the three finger technique for a good long while...like six months or so....i like it for nice clean triplets...but for when im playing fast...i'd take the alternating two any day...it sounds a little cleaner, and it's too much work to get three fingers going to speed when you can get two to do the same ammount...it saves my chops a bit too
