Doing a rewire on my direct in board, and I have an idea of a bass/synth pad setup using an OBNE Signal Blender to isolate pedals to separate loops. The rough signal chain would be compressor -> tuner -> booster -> Blender, set up with a loop for the synth pedals and a loop for the bass effects, the into my Bass Station preamp/DI. My modulation and delay would be in the FX loop of the Bass Station.
I have everything pretty much in line, but I have three gaps to fill. Interested in suggestions for what you would plug into these spots.
1. Reverb for the synth section. Would follow an EHX POG2 and Boss SY-1 as an always on as long as the loop is active. I am thinking the EQ Dispatch Master, but also considering a more modulated reverb. Any contenders would have to match the size and layout of the Dispatch Master, as that is all that would fit in the space I have on the board.
2. Fuzz. I've already got a Wampler Belle on for overdrive and a B3K for distortion, so trying to stay away from those areas. I have tried the Pork & Pickle, Carcosa, Cloven Hoof, and Doom 2, none of them really hit me the right way, but would be willing to give the Carcosa or Cloven Hoof another shot since I didn't have my DG Harmonic Booster before I got rid of them. Thinking of the JAM Red Muck or trying The Pelt from Fender.
3. Post-dirt texture, Boss sized or smaller. I have a Source Audio Collider and Wampler Terraform on the board and just enough space to fit something else in around them. My gut is either telling me another modulation if I would ever want to stack something with the Terraform, or the Earthquaker Afterneath since it's different enough from what's loaded on the Collider.
Picture is worth a thousand words, so here is the rough mock up with the slots I'm looking to fill:
