Double Bass How would you play Born Under a Bad Sign in B flat?

...which is how I'm hearing it by the Jimi Hendrix band. I'm trying to arrive at a good position or two to play it at:

The only challenging aspect (as I see it) is that it's in the key of Bb minor, eliminating the possibility of descending to the second note, Eb, so you have to go UP a 4th for the Eb. If your first note is the Bb on the E string (or an octave up on the D string), followed by Eb on the A string, all the notes fall into one position... no shifting needed.

By the way, the original Albert King version rules, in my opinion!

i tried playing the main line in both the low position on the bass and farther up the neck using the Bb on the E string. i'd recommend the latter because you can play the line with less drastic shifting in that position. But either can work. Good old minor pentatonic.
