How You Describe Your Music

Janek,

When someone asks you what kind of music you write, how do you answer them? I've always wondered how you would describe your music to someone who's never heard it before. Thanks for the insight!

that's a tough one, and one I'm not sure I've ever come up with a definitive answer for. It's melodic improvised and interactive instrumental music. For all intense and purposes it gets called jazz for the most part, but I'm not a big fan of that title at all. I tell people to check it out and tell me what they think themselves. Normally after a show people are just into the music, and categorizing it really isn't an issue.....
