Hey friends!
I’ve been a bass player since I was 14… 30 years ago
I started on mandolin and guitar but my buddies terrible Metallica cover band needed a bass player.
My dad had an old Mach 1 headless bass and a Ampeg V4B head and 2x15 cab so I jumped on the opportunity and was hooked immediately.
I haven’t been playing much for the past 5 years but have been writing music a lot more and just purchased a Spector NS 5 Dimension (which I’m super stoked on!).
Happy to be here and learn from you all! I’m also happy to share anything Ive learned over the years

Welcome to TalkBass! There is a tremendous wealth of knowledge and friendly people here to keep you entertained for decades. If only I would spend a tenth as much time practicing as I do surfing the forums, I might actually be a decent player by now, lol. Seriously though, this is a terrific community.

Ha! I hear you… I’m such a tech geek and a researcher. I realize I need to set aside time for actual practice when I’m not writing music or surfing for info
