The seperate switches for LPF and HPF are a very nice touch. Could be the reason to abandon the Broughton.

Stupid question: the Broughton HPF is -12 dB per octave, VS -24 dB per octave for the Sine Effect H24.Sine Effect Pedals make HPF, LPF, and combined HPF/LPF. I think the builder can customise. Email to find out.
Sine Effect Pedals.
It is steeper, not better. Different.Stupid question: the Broughton HPF is -12 dB per octave, VS -24 dB per octave for the Sine Effect H24.
Does it mean the later is "better"?
That looks good, if a little pricey. The 24 dB/octave slope is excellent; I kinda wish the Broughton had that, but I did get a decent deal on it used and local, so no complaints.Trickfish has an LPF/HPF in a pedal. I've never used it, but if it is like their amps (very high quality) it should be a good one.

The inexpensive Broughton Buffer Bandwidth Amplifier has a fixed HPF and LPF, but I don’t know the frequency cutoffs.

Sine Effect can customize it for you.Stupid question: the Broughton HPF is -12 dB per octave, VS -24 dB per octave for the Sine Effect H24.

Can't edit this but I started putting HPF into the front of the amp(no more in FX), so I send HPFed signal to FOH.I carry an Fdeck series 1 HPF in each bass case. They're inexpensive, batt powered with a couple hundred hours battery life. I always use it and run it in the FX loop, don't have to run power to it. I have a Broughton L/HPF on my pedalboard when I use pedals. I think the HPF is useful more of the time than a LPF. LPF is great for managing my on/off tweeters, though.
