Double Bass HPF's and down-tuning?

Hi everyone,

So I'm looking at buying a HPF - probz an Fdeck, Broughton, Cave etc.

I have a question;
A few of the HPF circuits I've looked at focus on 35Hz for their cut-off. There's a bit of variation too.
Thing is, I downtune - almost always - varying between low B to C mostly.

So what options are there for someone who plays below the standard 40Hz E?

Cheers

The options are the same, and they should work just as well. We hear far more overtones on low bass notes than fundamental, and even with standard tuning we are rolling off fundamental on the E and (often) a strings in an effort to get more clarity from the amp. Remember that the human spectrum of hearing at its optimum efficiency (i.e. before age/damage has affected it at all) is 20hz-20Khz. A high pass filter set lower than 35hz wouldn't be doing much at all that a human could hear.
