Last night I had a gig with two electric guitarists - sort of a mix of blues and R&B. I was asked to double on blues harp for a number of the tunes, which was fine. So I knew I'd be bringing the Fishman Loudbox Artist for the harp. As long as I had the Fishman, I put it on top of my Acoustic Image Coda 4 and ran the DI out of the Coda into channel 2 of the Fishman (channel 1 of the Fishman being the harp).
So the upright (Upton Bohemian with Rev Solo pickup) went ==> Radial PZ-Pre, 1/4-inch out of the PZ-Pre into the instrument input of the Coda ==> Coda DI XLR out into channel 2 of the Fishman for a little extra volume and projection. It sounded really good like that - the Coda provided the lower end and the Fishman punched it out there a little more (the place got crowded). And there was plenty of headroom for the harp when I used it. Also a very compact rig since the Fishman rests on top of the Coda.
Just reporting for what it's worth ... two very versatile little amps, and they play well together.
