Hydro dipping a bass body

I think that hydro dipping really results in a cool finish.Has anyone heard of a shop that does hydro dipping on guitar bodies?
If by "hydro dipping" you're talking about the swirl paintjobs, I've done a few myself (see avatar image) and I'm not aware of any shops that offer the service. But I do know of some freelance guys who do it as a side hustle. Look up "MFrost Swirls" on Facebook and/or "Richard Fay Swirls" on Facebook as well. Richard is in the UK so that might not work great for you, but his work is top notch. Outside of those two guys, third on my suggestion list is Robo Swirls, also on Facebook.

The general term "hydro dipping" refers to the process of floating a medium on the water and then dipping the item in it, which can be either a layer of paint, such as the case of the swirl paintjobs, or a printed pattern, such as used by wheel manufacturers, various molded plastic components in many industries and several other products out there too. Saying "hydro dipping" doesn't really explain what you mean. You could be talking about this -

or even this -
