Hello to all bassist friends and I warn you that English is not my mother tongue.
Here's the problem: for some time I've been having big buzzes and mass problems on my Music Man StingRay 2 Band EQ from 1998. At first it was light and occasional and now it's no longer possible!
According to my research it would be (I hope) the switchcraft which would be defective. So I undertook to change it but this part cannot be ordered in France despite it being available in the USA on the official website:
shop.music-man.com
I'll skip the details but I contacted all the MM resellers in France and contacted MM in the US but nothing can be done... What annoys me the most is that obviously it's a very recurring problem but we don't are not entitled to original parts if you are not in the USA!
It was suggested to me that I find a person, living in the United States, who would agree to order a very small electronic component for 4 dollars (or even several pieces for friends) from an American company and who would send it back to me in France. There are several reasons why ordering it myself (which was originally not possible) is proving problematic and will quickly become a headache.
Needless to say, all costs will be largely covered.
Here I am throwing this bottle into the Atlantic, see you soon I hope!

Music Man input jack for 2 band EQ StingRay basses with circuit board mounted jacks only. *NOTE* The solder tabs will need to be cut down slightly to be mounted to the circuit board.
