I looked at the credits in my Lee Ritenour "Rit" CD, and it states: "Louis Johnson - Bass"

I have the LP...it sez David Hungate!

This is curious; at least now I know why you're always saying Johnson & I'm saying Hungate. Maybe the LP was wrong the whole time & someone corrected it when the cd got issued?

Back in the day-
I know when I attempted learning "Mr. Briefcase" & the outro to "99", I used to say "...damn that David Hungate".

Maybe I need to fire an e-mail off to Hungate/Louis?

It names all of the musos who played on the album, but Louis is the ONLY bassist mentioned. I may have a jacket that slipped by the proofreader. BTW, I misspoke, I have the cassette from "back in the day", and I was reading that jacket.

BTW, I just looked at the credits @ Amazon.com, and it mentions Hungate, but not Johnson.
