I still only get P Bass threads. I have not found one thread that says.
"My opinion of the squier affinity jazz bass." Or "Squier Affinity Jazz Bass Club."
I think its a cool bass. I've played American fenders. The money difference is not worth it in my opinion.
Man the past 5 days have gone by in 3 hours.
A lot of people don't realize the value there getting when they buy a squier. The body is solid alder. The neck is maple and rosewood. Sure it might need a set up and if the pick ups could use replacing, but its really a nice value for the money.
Im pretty sure the Affinity series are made of Agathis not Alder
which means they wont win any beauty contests but they are super light
This explains why they Affinitys come only in 2 basic colors

Tone is in the fingers. I'm a great bass player so I don't have to drop a GRAND on rig to sound mediocre.

Squier is a good bass for beginners, but I don't think that after that you play let say for a year, you need to get another bass
