I don't know what to do on stage.

The more you move the more comfortable you'll be and the crowd will be attracted and interact more with the band. Who wants to move to music if the guy playing it doesn't look overly happy to be playing it?
 
It's very important to just look like you're having fun. Popular music is very visual.
The audience could just stay at home if they only wanted to use their ears.
Sometimes playing every note perfectly isn't the most important thing.
 
i have a lot more fun when i let go and don't worry about how dumb i look. i have found that i can either stand there, not moving....and look really dumb. or i can totally geek out, moving and shaking and making the metal sign with my right hand, and look really dumb. i try to choose the latter because it's more fun. unfortunately, there is no happy median for me. my advice....stop worrying about how you look on stage. have some fun!
