I got home today with a nice large rectangular package on my doorstep. I now have in my possesion an amazing LG 3005, thanks to Sean Baumann. I know why so many of you guys love these things, absolutely stunning in every way. Ill take some pictures later tonight if I can put it down long enough. :D

Thanks Sean!

Yeah, I told you all I loved this bass. It really is amazing, both feel and tone. I just wished the body shape worked a little better for me. I'm picky! One day I'll have a Century and be happy :)

Its the Bart pre. Its Sean Baumann's he had for sale for a while up here. Dont know how it lasted so long. Its a sweet one, for an awesome price I might add. Here's the rest of the spec's:

- Bart pre
- Spanish Cedar (we think) body
- Quilt Maple top
- Rosewood fretboard

Yeah, I tend to agree with Gard, it is quite a bit of figuring for mahogany, hence it is probably cedar. Either way it sounds pretty darn good heh.

Stuff in the link above was either recorded with my old Spector or Lakland. This is the song we recorded in full last night, with the Roscoe. There has been nothing done to it except some compression and limiting and a little reverb on the vocals. There needs to be some work done on the low end eq. This is also the first song weve ever done with out any type of drums in it, only cymbals.

Fade Away

Welcome to the Roscoe club. There is no turning back now that you are here.:)

I dont plan on turning back after this. I heard an analogy of Roscoes being like Lay's potato chips. Sadly this is true. I already want another one, but I have no money. :(

Im kind of suprised Gard hasnt stuck his head in here yet. Usually if anything having soemthing to do with Roscoe, he's in the thick of it.

B String: I think it's good to a fault. It's the only complaint I have, but it's not really a complaint either. I feel that the B and to a lesser degree the E strings over power the other strings. I used to pluck harder on my other strings so they didn't sound so quiet. What Keith suggested was to tighten the screw on the pickup on the side of the B and E strings so that the pick up would be farther away from the strings on that side of the pick up. It worked and every thing sounds even.

So the problem is no problem with a screw driver.
