I got a new preamp for recording :)

I'm guitar player mainly but I've been playing bass for the same number of years….anyway I was a bit lack lustre in the bass department when it's came to recording gear…and using a DI then dicking about with plugins was getting old fast…So a couple of days ago I bought a Sansamp GED-2112 put it through its paces tonight with my P Bass...Its cool having two separate preamps in it.. one Drive section and the other one Deep.

There is a third unaffected output on the back which is the clean DI signal.

I have both Drive and Deep going into Daw as two separate tracks. That sum into a Bass Bus. Once I connect the third output I'll have 3 tracks of bass...one clean DI, one Drive and one deep. The Unit is super versatile to track 3 sperate tracks of bass all at the same time all with their own unique characteristic. No phase issues, no dicking about with plugins and a mouse..I'm pretty happy. :rockout:
