All that said...this thread kinda displays the loserdom of the TalkBass heirarchy (sic)...The coolest mofo to grace these forums IMHO, has been the bassist from The Dap Kings. Short, sweet, Stfup. God knows Ive spawned awful threads...but to play on the mastubatory ego's of certain hat wearer's is a life shed... :(

aw, cmon... its just a little fun. the getting lucky part of the story is nothing unusual, its how she went about it, 'posing' as a bassist. after she sent me her pic i looked at her talkbass profile and noticed she had never posted or answered a thread, so i had a feeling and asked her if she really payed bass ect and she was honest about the whole thing and that was nice. good lord i never thought about her brother when i wrote this, sorry bro. no offense or disrespect meant. i was kinda horrified to see the thread still going today, im kinda hanging my head in shame but still smiling at the same time :smug: johnny a. staind

I feel the same way Jimmy; I don;t want any girl I am with to have even been in the same zip code as Ron Jeremy but like you my honest side says it probably would not have mattered.

Wow, yet another "social networking" site;)

Well, as much as lots of this thread largely makes me a bit . . . uncomfortable (and I've been around the block quite a few times), I must add that at the end of the day, you can take your lead singers, your guitar slingers, and your drum bashers, but it's the bass players that are the true opposite sex magnets in a rock band. OK, maybe drummers too, but it's just that crazy animal magnetism with them--not the understated, subversive power over the loins of the audience that we wield . . .
