I had to put my dog down

I had to put my dog down late last week. She was a 13 1/2 year old Akita mix that me, and my wife had since she was a pup. She just couldn't go up steps anymore, had a hard time standing up, and wasn't pooping or eating right. I've had dogs my whole life, and this never gets any easier. It's been a tough last 5 years for me as I've lost my wife, my mom, both dogs, and 6 rabbits.

Dogs rule! They make our lives more whole and you made that dog's life better. Still, it's love and it's unconditional which makes it all the more sad when these things have to happen.

My biggest regret was that she never got a chance to enjoy the new farm.
