I Hate Crocs!!!!

I think Crocs are just fine...

...for my 3-year-old! For adults, they look pretty dorky.

That said, if I had a job where I was on my feet all day, and they provided an improvement in comfort, I'd probably have some. In the meantime, the flip-flops I'm wearing right now do just fine for casual footwear.

It is our right to look as ridiculous as we want on our own time.. but if I ever saw crocs on a gig, I think I'd insist that person should change or just play barefoot... and that's from someone who's comfortable with sandals on real low-key gigs.. I've got friends who would scream bloody murder over sandals no matter how low-key the gig.. they might get violent over crocks...

Best deck shoes ever (non-skid, won't leave marks on anything), best working-on-a-hard-surface shoes ever (like having a personal fatigue pad under you all day) and in general a huge global innovation in feet. Ask the buttzillion nurses, kitchen workers, Marina crew, and warehouse staff that swear by them, and then talk to me about "fashion sense".

I'll agree with this. I prefer to be barefoot on the boat, but if there's any type of serious fishing going on where there may be some potentially painful animals or equipment on the deck, Crocs are great! Lightweight, waterproof, comfortable, and skid-resistant.
