I hate rental agencies...they mess with you so bad!

All these rental agencies mess up with you so bad.

I ask for a 3 bedroom, they show me a 2 bedroom and say the living room is the 3rd bedroom.

I ask NO garden units (basement unit), and they show me...a garden unit

I ask laundry in the unit...and they show me the laundry is in the basement or 2 blocks away.

I ask close to the metro...and they say the metro is in such and such miles away. Google it, the metro is 20 blocks away...He says there is the bus.

I ask hardwood floors...they show me a stained carpet unit.

I ask balcony...they show me no balcony and says...but you could hang out in the community garden.

I ask below this price...and they say I have a great unit but is $500 more.

I ask central air...they show me ceiling fans.

I ask: Have you ever seen this unit?
They said: sure, sure (meaning...they have not)

I ask why didn't you list pictures on the posting.
They say: It's just listed (meaning...they don't have a clue how, where, what it looks like)

I ask..are you an idiot
They say: no...but I have a great unit...(that I never asked for)

But do they actually have available what you're looking for?

maybe they're just using the "shotgun" approach where they may not have what you need available but keep showing you loads stuff figuring that eventually one may catch your fancy.

I'm kind of going through a similar thing house-hunting where our realtor is never able to match exactly what we're looking for. One house will have a few qualities that we need - great school system, for instance, but will be a 2 bedroom house... Or then there's the 4 bedroom house but it's right next door to a fire station and so on.
