Wouldn't that bridge kill/absorb the vibration, seeing as it is anchored by a single screw at the end of an approximately 2.00 inch long lever arm? You don't make something rigid or stable by mounting it a (relatively) long distance away from where it is anchored. And to top it off, the lever arms are all attached to the same plate, by a single screw. That makes no sense at all to me. I would think at the very least you would run into tuning/temperature issues with all that cantilevered distance.
Call me skeptical.
The original 2TEK bass bridge had twice as many screws, and the fingers were milled more like tuning forks. Each string had a different cutout. They were engineered to isolate string vibration via resonance control. They said something about piano technology, blah blah. I was exhibiting at NAMM with my Alumabass speakers at the time, and when I tried it I liked it (still do).
I'm not sure how the 2nd generation works as the "fingers" are now all the same, but that's what I have on both my 2TEK Cruisebasses. I think those "lightening" holes, in conjunction with the rearmost mounting plate, form the resonance isolation. Works great.
