Unfair! Too many options!
I saw that BLACK/RED/BLACK and thought it might work too.
I like the black pickguard on a red bass.
It looks studly.
Yeah--Rotosounds will certainly change a bass's sound!
Love the tone, but the rough texture on their rounds took some getting used to.

Boy - and I think their 77s are smooth as silk!
I know they aren't smooth as my Elixirs on my SR500, but they are nothing like they were with the Fender whatever-they-was ones.
Rough to me is like the bronze-wounds on my AEG10. Now there's rough! But they have an upright nasal-y voice that I love too, so I just play them and like it. Hmmmmm - maybe guts?!?
