I love my string.....but don't know what they are?

Got a great bass for Christmas and absolutely love the strings on it. They sound great.
Not as rough on my fingers as my rotosound round wound. Sorta of a semi round wound???
No color on the ends that would give me a hint. and up by the tuners the strings are silver.
My rotosounds have red thread around the tuners but these are bare metal.

How do I figure out what they are?

No silk at the tuner end, no color-coded ball ends. Are they all brass-colored? Smoother than rotosound rounds... Are they also more flexible/supple (ie less stiff) than the rotos?

Looking at the photos, I would guess nickel-plated steel. And possibly DR based on the fairly tight winding. Maybe the Sunbeams?
