Lol, way to let it go! Good job!I see that you're very intense about this.
I didn't "bring anything up," I noted the amps I was thinking of as examples in my original post, I think...
I'm also not calling anyone names, etc. over it.

Fair enough -- I think others interpreted it as such.My information is for newbies too, and I never argued against your advice.

(Edit - wait, were we only talking about class D?)I always figured "a couple" = 2, "a few" = 3, "several" = more than three, "many" = more than "several" (whatever that is).
Though it's literally true that there are "many" 8 Ohm minimum Class D Amps in circulation, the number of such designs is a small percentage of that population.
Cheers,
But only about word meanings, which is my field.![]()

In your field. Outstanding!
I have the same combo (Max 300 210). I have a 210 Eden cab that's 4ohms. No way I can connect it to the peavey combo is it? Would even like to bypass the Peavey speaker jsut to see/hear the difference between the two speakers.Interesting thread you guys have created here.......
I think "many" may have missed the word combo in your post, others seem to not consider combos as amplifiers.
My Peavey Max 250 combo amp has a speaker out, that is rated 8 ohm minimum, similar to your GK112.

That makes at least two "amps" in the world, that can connect an external speaker, that is limited to 8 ohm minimum?
