i need a phaser

There is a Homebrew Electronics Psilocybe phaser for sale in the classifieds right now for $130.00. If I didn't already have one, I would jump on it myself. IMO, it's the best sounding phaser I have ever heard.

When I hear "versatile" in the same sentence as phaser, I think of the EHX Stereo Polyphase. You can do a standard LFO phaser in either a standard triangle wave or a square wave, you can sweep it manually with an expression pedal, you can do an envelope phaser. You can choose the start and stop freqs, which means you can keep the sweep out of your lows if you want, and it also means you can have the envelope sweep up OR down.

I got mine off ebay for 120 bucks. Tough to beat

Im not sure, but the boss PH-3 might be just under the 150. Its got lots of modes. And its the only one yet to be mentioned by anyone yet in this thread

In addition, this thread...

...is full of PH-3 lovers.

Count me in that camp as well, although I don't have much experience with other non-PH-3 phasers, so I'm coming at it from a versatility standpoint. If I tire of one setting, I change it up and get happy again.

Got me a PH-3! I love it so far, and find it fairly versitile and unique with the rise/fall/step modes.

Great sound too. I find if I put the depth (basically a mix knob) up to high I get an increase in volume from it.

Only cost me 115$ and I would highly recommend it, and can see myself continuing to in the future :D
