I need help with the right gear.

I need help in finding a good Bass. I have been playing for 2 years on a Ibanez Starter Bass and the Ibanez bass it comes with.
Okay me and my friends are starting a band. They have their gear:
-Our Lead and Rhythm guitarist have A Les Paul with Seymour Duncan SH-4/Jazz/ or Bugera 333XL.
Our Rhythm guitaris will also have a Semi Hallow but he hasn't decided what one.
-Our Drummer has DDrum
-And I am planing on getting a Fender Aerodyne.
The main thing I need to know is what is the best gear; such as pick ups, tuners, strings, neck, and the bridge.
Just give me your best opinions on what gear I should get.
I also would ask for your opinions on the amp I should get.
Send me links for good gear please and thank you.

Yea, savit260 is right... your should "saveit" (your cash that is) for an amp at this point...
You'll need to pump out a good 500 watts if your guitar players are gonna turn past half volume... but I'd say 200 will get you by /w a drum kit, atleast. I suggest your head over to a music shop and have a look -- everyones ears are different.
