I need some help buying a new rig

I've spent months searching for the ultimate light rig to suite my light/medium finger style in a 70's to 90's cover band.
I thought I had found it when I purchased a PJB Suitcase and 4B cab rig.
300 Watts, light and 10/10 reviews.
Sounded awesome but doesn't cut the mustard volume wise at rehearsal. Even got too hot and cut out.

I'm thinking GB 3.5Neo pack and 212 neo cab or Markbass 210 combo. Both have fans, PJB doesn't.
I've tried them both in the store - amazing but don't want them to be too quiet at rehearsal, let alone gigs. Once bitten!
I've tried GK 700RBII and 210 tilt back - too toppy for me.
Any suggestions appreciated, even other brands. It's getting me down.

BTW i'm in Australia so choice is a factor.
