I NEED TONE-SHAPING HELP!

I play in a Metalcore band out of OKC and my bass tone hasn't been cutting it for me..
I play on a Schecter Stiletto Custom 5 through a Gallien-Krueger Goldline 500 and two GLX 410s. I recently bought a SANSAMP Bass Driver DI in the hopes that it would help me achieve the tone I'm searching for but I'm not having any luck yet.

This is the bass tone I'm going for.

I'm playing with Ernie Ball Power Slinkies, could down sizing on my strings help me get that metallic sound? What would my presets need to be on my SANSAMP? What would my presets need to be on my amp? HELP!

If having that tone, will it cut through? i found this type of scooped tone, will actually cause you to be buried more by guitars, from my experience the best way to cut through heavy down tuned guitar is to boost the mid on your amp around 2-3 oclock, than cut the bass on your sansamp around 10-11, boost the treble to 1 and boost the presence to 1 or 2, gain around 9-10.

I never really dug the sound from the Sansamp, either.....but the Goldline GK stuff....I've never played on it....but I kinda recall people saying it's not the best of GK the stuff (or was that the blackline stuff.....?) As much as I LOVE my pedals, I might start there, first. GK or Mesa is probably the brand of amp you want to stick with to get that tone. If you can afford a new amp ($600 or so), I'd go there. I hybrid amp would be nice. Something that gets a tube sound. If you have $1,000, get a Mesa Bass 400+. You'd be doing that all night long and loving it.

If you can't put that much money down, the pedal I'd be looking at is the Darkglass B3K.
