I live in a place where there are a few dealers for musical instruments like Fender and Jackson , and they are at least double the price of what i see online , because of the taxes in my country ......I bought a bass from the U.S without trying it, a B.C Rich Warlock Platinum which sux although i'm used to it and probably is good for me as a beginner 6 years ago , I have a PB-800 Ampeg Portabass head also bought from the states , and a Marshall 410 Cab , I'm studying to become an audio engineer and I play all styles of music from Latin Jazz to Heavy Metal , so i want a comfortable good sounding bass , that is basically good for all styles of music , because i can't wait till my next visit to any normal country and try out basses , my price is up to 2000$ , I don't care about how thick the neck is i think i can get used to it, or how does it look like , but i play finger most of the times i don't slap alot , and I like the high tension strings... I was interested in MM Stingray for a couple of weeks , then i thought about Billy Sheehan's Yamaha cause it has two outputs !! which kinda gives u a wider range as an audio engineer , i don't know !! it's a really hard decision especially with that amount of money , so I hope you guys can help me having a wise choice .... THANKS
