I play every day, but...

I suspect we are all in the same spot; I play (practice) every day, and am trying to add songs to my catalog, but it's not the same. I have gone from 39 band gigs, and 24 church gigs this year to none right now, and who knows for the future.

So what are you doing to musically survive the current situation. Is anyone rehearsing with their band via the internet? If so, how does it work; what hardware and software do you need? Are "conference type" online sites available to tie band members together? If you are able to get your band together online, will you describe the nuts and bolts of how you do it.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions or solutions you can offer.

Thump on,

There's been a few threads on this, but none with a satisfactory answer that I've seen.
Certainly apps like Zoom get some of the way, but nothing as yet seems to enable true ensemble playing.

I'd imagine there's a few developers out there trying hard to get a truly workable solution, but from what I've read, mostly from guys on here who seem to know this stuff, the problem is in defeating latency/lag.
