I somehow passed out at band...

I had a trumpet player pass out on us once.

It was the ending in the last song of the set and he was hitting a high note for longer than he should have. The guy fell backwards like a lumber jack just took him out at the ankles. He went out cold for a few seconds and was a bit dizzy when he awoke. Well, at least he had good timing. He expired just as the song did and a couple guys didn't even notice as they got off stage. I was like, hey, can I get a little help here?? He was fine.

I was actually the lucky one. I usually stand behind the horn section and at this particular venue there is a large window that stretched from the bottom of the stage to the top of the ceiling. I'm not a big guy so he would have pushed me right through the window and into the bushes below. So, I missed my chance at a dramatic exit. Nobody ever notices the bass player. :D ;)
