I think I like this whole fretless thing..

I decided that I should just take the plunge and got myself the Fbass AC6. I don't look back. 95% of the time, I play the fretless.

I love the fretless so much I even got a NS Design EU6. Now this along with the AC6 should keep me busy for the next 40 years. LOL

Fretless bass guitar is a gateway instrument. Be careful. Next, you will find yourself becoming a DB player, and then what? Next is a bow, and... It's a slippery slope into bigger and bigger things to carry around!
Its been about two weeks since I finished the fretless...and I found myself online today looking for local DB dealers...Luckily I dont have that kind of cash right now!

Too many people try a fretless for 1.74 minutes (or less) in a store, or try a friend's instrument, and say "No way Jo...(fill in your preferred gender/name). Which is fine as far as I'm concerned. Let the ones who really give it time be rewarded for their efforts.

I've tried it a few times, and wanted it to work. But I find I don't have the time to make it be as in tune as I want. My once a week at church isn't enough and I aditidly don't practice enough so I stayed fretted so I can be a little sloppy and play in tune. Sad but at least I'm honest.

The 2 Roscoe fretless 5's were the best fretless basses ever.
