I wanna P (but I need some help)

Beautiful! This inspires me to go old. Those are in great shape!
Thanks. They are wonderful basses, great examples of pre-CBS instruments. The sunburst is an original finish but the CAR is a refinish. Refins are much less expensive since they are no longer all original so if you’re okay with that I’d recommend checking them out, you get more bang for your buck if you’re just wanting a player.

Yeah, I'm definitely looking for a player. I'm actually in talks about a '65 P. The date on the neck is Feb 1965, so it misses "pre-CBS" by a month. But the price is right, plays/sounds great and it's got some mojo. I guess we'll see.

Hard pass on olinto Basses. Was a cool idea when it was new. Now they are pumping them out too fast. Missing details. Heard of guys specifying a build then getting refunded and seeing them on reverb. Nice people but fell victim to the same thing that happens to companies when the need to speed up production increases.
