My Pedulla GAS started with a Buzz and ended with an MVP.

1986 Buzz, 2002 MVP.

I much prefer the old logo, but it is far from a deal breaker. So much amazing from these two.

I've read on here other people who had issues with the company. So strange. They have been nothing but supportive and enthusiastic with me about my purchase and the MANY emails back and forth throughout the ordering process and continuing questions over this last year. I do feel bad about your experience.

Christine is the best!! She's always right on and she remembers me every time be called. I just ordered strings (5-string sets) for my PentaBuzz and I just put a set on my Am. Dlx. Jazz 5 and it's plays better now, and she asks me...Don't you need strings for your ThinderBolt 6? Ummm yes. I'm actually getting ready to send it in and get it refinished as the back is, and was when I bought it, checking pretty badly so it's a real colored Birdseye Maple top so I'll probably get it done in Arctic Midnight but I might go with the All Blues sunburst with Peacock Blue to Arctic Midnight like I asked him to do when he redid my PentaBuzz. It needed the fingerboard redone after many years dia fee more hundred I changed from Cherry Sunburst.

Beautiful Duo!!! How do you like the Lace pickups vs the Barts?

It didn't come with Barts, or an active EQ, so a direct A/B comparison is a bit tough.

But, huge output from the Lace pickups, and the Audere preamp is a good match for the bass (in my opinion) with the dual midrange control.

I had a Pentabuzz briefly before I got the MVP, and I prefer the Audere setup with the extra bands of EQ and the Z switch for tone altering.

I never hear much about Lace bass pickups, but they are fantastic.

YMMV, IMO, etc.

I too wanted a Pedulla. The only cure is to own one.

I took the plunge and do not regret it in the least. It was, back in 1989 when I first played one, and remains today the best feeling bass I’ve ever held. I just aquired a 1990-era P/J Buzz, and it is, as I remembered from all those years ago, my dream bass.

Save the $ and just do it; it is totally worth it.
