I want a UBER 412

Providing the speakers were the same and the 412 you envision is the literal equivalent of two of the 212s, then yeah, it would be identical.

4x12 is an incredible sound. Two 2x12 cabs can get you there. My only objection to the 4x12 is weight, but if you want to schlep it it will sound awesome.

+2 Just get a pair of Uber212's and stack them. A single Uber212 has great bottom end and puts out enough by itself that I've been asked by the FOH engineer at 2 different gigs to dial it back a little. A pair of these cabs with 1200 watts driving them would be huge and give you that punch to the chest that's so satisfying. Two separates would also be easier to move and give you the option of taking one if that's all you needed.

thanks guys! 2 212's would kill. Easier to move also. I wouldn't think I'd have a problem with running 1 cab, even though I would have a 1000 watts running into a 600 watt cab. As long as I didn't get too carried away, right?

not at all... you can also down shift the head...flip the 2 ohm swith and run it with the 212...you power it it down to 750 watts... a little safer. However I always ran mine with the 1000 watts

Alright. I think this is it. I've been trying to decide forever what rig I wanted. This is it. Genz Benz GBE 1200 into 2 UBER 212's. Yep! That should do it. It would be nice to have a matching nubbie vinyl cabinet for the head, hhhuuuummm?
