^^this.. For most of us boom is an unintended consequence of poor cab design and/or swapping out drivers without doing the engineering homework. The vast majority of us find "boom" undesirable and cabs are generally engineered to avoid it. However if this is what you're looking for, it is possible to accomplish w/the improper gear...lol..
I swapped the bottom 410 for a 115, that well-known thump was there again.
You can also change the thump factor by where you pluck the strings on your bass. Try moving toward the neck for more thump.
