    The bridge is just different.

    Dude, that is a strat body, with a tele bass pickguard, humbucker, and angled neck pickup! Completely different

  8. The Broadcaster was the same as the Tele, just different name. It was introduced in 1950 and called the broadcaster until gretsch threatend to sue cause they had a drum kit and other products called the "broadkaster". so they changed the name of the guitar to Telecaster in 52.

    That Squier is called The 51 or somethin like that...

    Man if that guitar is around 300 dollors I'm going to buy it. I need a new bass but that thing........... is............ is :hyper:

    It's a Squier 51. A Squier guitar tribute to the '51 P-Bass :confused: .

    Anyway, I've played one, and It's a very good guitar for the money. IIRC, they're sale priced below $200.

    fugly , dead doodoo...
    the strings are too thin , don't think the neck will take too much thumping , the tuners don't look like bass tuners ....

    oh wait , that's a guitar . :rolleyes: ... sorry , now back to your regularly scheduled program ...
