I agree. Consider your arm twisted. I had to look up Jackson bass for a look at the headstock...be careful.

Looks like they’re not sure if it’s poplar or basswood under that veneer. Looks cool, neck through is a good touch. Hopefully they’ll come out with an affordable MIJ version like they did with the soloist or whatever somewhat recently, I really like that style.

I dig it. I think it'd look even better without the pickguard personally. It's unfortunate that Jackson gets pigeonholed as a metal brand. Every bass I've tried from them has been pretty great.

35" scale is hard to fathom when I'm loving my Mustang so much at the moment, particularly after a few hours practice on a 32" (P, J, Ibanez or Ray).

Just spotted this exact bass at a local GC. Looked cool, felt cool. Might consider it for a student that’s looking to upgrade their bass!
