would like to spend under $1000.00, as far as sound, i'm new to playing and dont really understand all the terms i hear here on the site. i know i like a heavy bottom and my style/experience i dont do awhole lot of fancy playing. mostly will be playing country. thanks again, jim

I'd still go with the G-K Fusion 550, the Peavey VB-2 is selling cheap right now as a second IMO. For a cab a used Peavey 215 BW (Black Widow) can usually be found for $200-250. Get a really good head and make your cabs a second concideration. For the G-K head request a quote from Invalid Link Removed they are hard to beat for G-K's.
