Hey, what's up? It's great to meet everyone and talk with other bassists, since I don't know very many myself, lol.. My name is Ryan, I've been playing bass for about 2 years, now and I just joined a new band a week ago! It was such a great feeling after not being in a band for so long... Anyways, I'm a very dynamic bassist, I play stuff from the peppers, I like some jazz, a lot of funk, but I also love me some Mudvayne and Disturbed as well. I love the versatility of my Ibanez SR500QM, it can get the slaps and pops that I want nice and snappy, I dunno how to describe, haha... I noticed ever since I started slapping that I have a hatred for mids, I'm not sure why, but whenever the mids are up just a little too much, i end up turning them down completely. Maybe that's just me, but I kinda feel like it's a universal thing. Soooo... yeah, that's about all I've got. Good Afternoon, TalkBASS!
